NAGPUR MUNICIPAL CORPORATION SOLAR PROJECT

Ministry of New & Renewable Energy of India has selected Nagpur as 'Model Solar City' under which a huge project 125kWp is installed and commissioned on the administrative building of Nagpur Municipal Corporation. This project is completed by KITPL. With this project, Nagpur Municipal Corporation becomes the 1st local body in Vidharbha to have its own solar power plant.
The speciality of this project is that the mounting structure provided has a manual seasonal tracking system. Also weather station is installed which monitors the weather forecasting data.

APANG KALYANKARI SANSHTHA PROJECT - A Kirloskar Pneumatics Company Limited CSR Project

Under Kirloskar Pneumatics Company Limited's CSR a 2kWp Solar Project was installed in Apang Kalyankari Sanstha at Wanowarie, Pune. The system is an off-grid system with a battery and an inverter.

KIRLOSKAR CHILLERS PVT. LIMITED PROJECT

To meet the demanding increase of power, Kirloskar Chillers Pvt Ltd installed a 30kWp grid interactive system. KITPL installed and commissioned this system with superior efficiency. The entire solar panels are installed on Aluminium mounting structure on an industrial shed of Kirloskar Chillers. Installation of this system has led to a saving of 120 to 150 units' power per day.

HIGH ALTITUDE SHELTER PROJECT AT BUDHKHARBHU, LEH

Total Capacity: 1.4kWp
This was a model project done for Indian Army by Kirloskar Integrated Technologies Private Limited in association with Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited. It was installed at Budhkharbu in Leh at 12000 ft.
The entire system consisted of 1.4kWp Solar System along with a Variable DC Diesel Generator, 3.5kW Inverter and Battery Bank. The CIGS panels used in the system are MIL qualified Solar PV Panels used to reduce the operational hours of DC Diesel Generator thereby minimising the cost on maintenance and fuel logistics.
